Today you may be facing great obstacles, loss, pain, despair, fear, anger, hopelessness.
This Christmas may not look the same as last. Or this Christmas may look exactly the same as last.
Perspective. Mindset.
I sat down with a lot on my mind for this week’s devotional, so much I wanted to write. But God asked me to take a step back and simple reflect on one thought, baby Jesus.

Do not be caught up in the familiarity of this Christmas story.
Jesus was an unexpected little bundle.
Let us all be on the edge of our seats with anticipation. Looking forward with joy and high hopes of the promises that come with this birth.
His birth, a birth that is like no other!
Salvation and hope are coming, wrapped up in a personal tiny little gift!

Pslams 16:11
You will show me the path of life;
In your presence is the fullness of joy;
In your right hand there are pleasures forever more.

Joy comes from one place, and he is about to make a grand arrival.
