Responsive Reading and Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom and Understanding:

Verse: Proverbs 4:7 (MSG) Above all and before all, do this: Get Wisdom! Write this at the top of your list: Get Understanding!

Prayer: Lord God Almighty, of all the things in this life, I first and foremost ask for Spiritual Wisdom and Understanding.  

Verse: James 1:5-6 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.  But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.  

Prayer: Father in Heaven, I have no doubt that you want me to possess and display your spiritual wisdom. I thank you now for it.  

Verse: James 3:17 (WNT)  The wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peaceful, courteous, not self-willed, full of compassion and kind actions, free from favoritism and from all insincerity.  

Prayer: I repent of pursuing my way. I renounce self-will and jealousy along with all the works of Earthly Wisdom.    

Verse: Col 1:11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.  

Prayer: I have Strength from above .   I am spiritually stubborn, immovable!

I have a high pain tolerance and will endure all that this world throws at me because I live continually in an “Attitude of Gratitude” over my Salvation.
