Psalm 62:1-2  I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.

Our Sabbath should include both joyful celebration and quiet solitude. We live in a world filled with noise, and unless we’re intentional, we’ll miss His still, small voice. Take time to sit quietly, listen to the birds, or hear the ocean. The stillness prepares our hearts to listen. When we pause to simply abide in the silence, our posture says, “Speak, Lord—Your servant is listening.”
