Colossians 3:15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. ... And always be thankful. The sabbath is a twenty four hour period of time to appreciate with gratitude, the life Jesus has given us.  Peace and gratitude go hand in hand. We can’t expect the peace of God to rule in our hearts while living with an ungrateful spirit. God’s peace doesn’t fall from the sky like rain; it bubbles up from within, growing as a fruit of gratitude.
